Set up my trail cam where i found the dead deer last week. Finally dispelled my own doubts there is coyotes in these parts. Neither the fox nor the coyote lingered long...perhaps leery of the flash.

yeah. well, i'd have to think about that. I like to go to bed early and that'd require staying up late. Besides it'd be spooky out in the brush at night. A guy was telling about a coyote standoff he had where the coyote was standing there growling at him, but he managed to shoot it before it could attack. I always thought coyotes were afraid of humans??? ..but now i wonder. H@!! i had a goose come running up the creek bank straight at me the other day with its head down and its wings out and i was on the 4-wheeler!
