Hey VG-- sorry u didn't draw that goat tag-- BUT I got one this yr.-- for G13 in CO. Season starts 9/7-- real soon but i've got a week off prior to the hunt-- and there's supposed to be a lot of 'em up there so i'll start scouting this wknd. coming. Gonna use a Switch barrel Striker in the factory 270 WSM mode.

I have killed Mt. Goats with 3 different calibers. 308 Winchester, 30/06 and 270 Winchester. In addition I have seen 270's kill two other Goats. The quick expanding bullet in the 270 is a Goat getter!

I think after all the scouting I have done and the blisters I am trying to heal I may hope for that Moose permit to come up before another Goat tag!
