| I'm trying to find the time to do an appropriate job of it, I have a little so far but not much. I have the dies, brass etc, so soon.

| It's the same thing as the 17 Mach 4. H335 is excellent. 20.4g H335 with a 20g Vmax should get you around 4150fps. |

| I have a Remington 700 CDL SF Limited 17 Fireball rifle but I have not gotten a 6-18x scope for it or reloading dies. Hodgdon has reloading data for it at http://data.hodgon.com Remington is not going to sell brass for it until 2008, I called Cabelas, they have 20 GR ammo at $23.49 per box of 20 ea.

| I've been loading the Fireball. Got a new CDL on the first of April with 600 Rds. of Factory Ammo. Went on a rat shoot and shot 500 rds. in one week. FActories only shot about 1.25 at a 100. Tried H4198 but did not work well for me. Changed to H335 when Hodgdon got their data out, and with 20.0 grs get about .5" groups. Bought 300 rds. 221 fireball brass and formed to 17. Use form die and then neck size, no lube nessecary, seemed to work for me , they fit. They don't shoot as well as one fired but I assume when they are once fired will be OK. WSR primers seeme to work OK. Wanted Rem 7.5 but could not find. Hope this helps. |

| Gents. I have no history with the fireball, but my .17 Rem was transformed when I changed to Benchmark from Varget. It has made a factory 1" gun into an easy 1/2" at 100 with no problems. I'm getting just over 4000 fps using Berger 25s.
