The P-dogs are out around Grants, New Mexico.
I was out tooling around Sunday, didn't see any and really wasn't looking for them. Then yesterday a retired judge wanted to see some antelope for some possible photography and I took him down on New Mexico 117 past the Pietown Road turnoff and spotted the little critters, looking all like little fat men with beer bellies, standing up and looking around. It is going to be a great year. Tom Purdom

Yeah, the Whistle Pigs (ground squirrels) are out early in Idaho, too.

Wonder if that means anything about a long hot summer or anything?
