Is it true....are Night Force scopes over rated for their price. whats your opinion. Regards to all.

They're very good scopes, but knocking $100-200 off the price would result in a lot more value (and sales).

WAYNExxxx: I have never owned a NightForce scope as I am a Leupold kinda guy. But I have checked them out at the range several times when my friends would let me. These were the higher powered variables. They are very impressive there at the range. I have only peered through them out in Varmint country a couple of times - impressive again. None of my friends have had any breakdowns with them.
I knew the #1 and #2 men in the NightForce import headquarters near my old home town (when they were in Seattle and then Kent, Washington) and they were great guys and dedicated to making their customers happy.
I much prefer their new NXS Models over the older style but they were both just to expensive for me to afford one!
I have a complete night Hunting outfit from their sister company Lightforce USA and it is top of the line. No spotting system compares to it. Good luck if you decide to try one.
