I've got a Contender that I converted into a .223 carbine that I really like. Real handy to carry and did a number on one nice coyote so far. Anyway, I've been thinking about getting the Encore Carbine since they offer it in .22-250 for a little longer range. I was wondering if any had any experience with this one?

Yep, 15" 308, 24" 240 Gibbs, 26" 30 Gibbs. I have kindof settled on the 308 with the pistol grip. I have a Warne QD base and rings and alternate between a Leupold 2.5X8 and Aimpoint red dot sight. On the Gibb's barrels, Bullberry Barrel Works did the barrels and the custom carbine stock. The stock has an extra thick recoil pad and the 30 Gibbs is not objectionable at all from a bench.
