so this last weekend we loaded up some of them in a 22/250 at 4000 FPS+ and they held together just fine. accuracy seems on par with vmax, & blitz kings. the fun part was when the crow landed in a tree about 75-80 yards away. Spectacular blow up. first thing to hit the ground was some little pieces of hamburger with small feathers attached, then some of the big feathers came trickling down, and this black down that was drifting in the breeze. no idea where any big parts went. should be just the thing for PD's and the like. Now i have to find a puddycrat or two to see about furbearers. i have the feeling that it will blow up and only leave a small enterance hole.

Midway has them in stock in boxes of 100 and 250. Barnes Varmint Grenade Bullets 22 Caliber (224 Diameter) 36 Grain Hollow Point Box of 100
No exits on the bobcats I shot with them. I'm hoping someone produces 17 HMR and 17 Mach2 ammo with a similar lead free jacketed bullet. The 17 Mach2 would be a good dispatch weapon for animals in traps.
