I think Sako still makes the .17Rem., Kimber as well. Of course Cooper will make anything you want, but expensive.
I really like my .17Rem. It's a Remington 700BDL. Yeah, it is a pretty heavy fouler. I clean after every 10 shots at the range. This varies depending on the shooter. It's a rather tempermental little cuss though. Shoots well, but only when it damn well pleases. It's common enough to get a .3" group (5 at 100yds.), preceded or followed by a 1.1" group. Still, it's a neat little rifle to own. Best wishes.

Just an update. I ordered a Cooper Model 21 Varminter chambered for a 17 Mach IV. Should see it around christmas. Very excited!
