I tested a 416 Rem on a squirrel once at about 20yrds. I guess it was a squirrel you couldnt prove it by the remains.

after a whole one experiment, i have proven that a 270 grn bullet, from a 9.3x62, at (about) 2450fps, will, beyond a shadow of a doubt, kill a coyote standing at a distance of(about)35 feet. hope to have pictures soon. just thought i would let ya'll know ...bud

Are you sure it will kill a yote. My friends buddy insisted he shot a Deer in the head with a 30-06 and it ricochet off the skull. I find it hard to believe but he also didn't think a 357 would kill a Deer even up close until he shot through the shoulders and dropped it dead in its tracks. My friend also had no faith in his reloads he bought factory shells to hunt with and used the reloads to practice.

All you need to do now is bounce a few more off the yotes.
