Has anyone on this board ever herd of a guy in Texas that will take a Leupold scope and "targetize" it so that no parts inside of it moves when you are shooting. It almost sounds like he puts an o-ring in front of the crosshairs and replaces a leaf spring with a coil spring to sure it up. He does a lot of work for bench shooters.
A lot of the benchrest crowd has scopes modified like this. It is usually called the "Tucker conversion". Many benchrest shooters feel that the 36X Leupold has a built-in POI shift in the magnitude in the order of .05" at the shot.

Thanks Guys, I finally found a benchrester, he told me the same as Dutch. At least I know now that the person that told me this was not fibbing or blowing.
