I have a Savage Model 110FP in 25-06 with the heavy barrel. I am currently working with 87gr moly coated TNT with RL19 for a velocity of around 3500fps at the muzzle. I was curious what you all think of the Shepard scopes, and what would be the best upgrade for this rifle to improve accuracy. The factory trigger has already been adjusted and breaks pretty clean. Thanks for the input.

The next logical step would be to free-float the barrel, and glass bed the action. If it was me, I would get another stock because I hate the way Savage stocks fit. It sounds like you should have a shooter. Let us know how it groups.
jsr25-06, Welcome to a new member from someone who's been a member but never posted much so I'm a new member too!! You own the finest varmint caliber to be had! Mr. Neidner was ahead of his time! If you're getting 7-8/10's groups at 325 yards you've got a winner! Now stretch that target to 500 yards and let's see what it'll do! I'll bet you will be pleased! If it's truly doing this good, you ought to clean it right after shooting and give it a coveted place in the safe! You won't improve it much from where you're at!! GHD
