Our area here in Northern B.C. is over run with coyotes this year. Predation by wolves and coyotes is a big factor in the decline of our game herds. I took this big guy on my farm during the deer season.

Nice ! Here in NY and PA 20 % IIRC of the coyotes are actually coyote/wolf with different genes, skull shape and go about 75 lbs. . What's the story in BC ?Is your dog coyote or a mix ?

As far as I know the ones in northern BC are pure coyotes.

That is a beautiful coyote. It's about twice the size and twice the fluff of anything around here.

im sure thier would be more than a few around here that would bring ya coyote hunting i know a few outfitters personally and i could ask most of them would prolly wanna do the hunt in nov-dec-jan-feb-march as those are the best months and the jan-feb-march months being the best as the coyots will be hungry and on the move.
