On way home from work this morning saw a groundhog sitting in the middle of snow covered field, about 75 yds off road. Never seen one out this time of year, with the weather the way it's been, still 12+" of snow on ground temp about 15 degrees. In an area that's not huntable hog population high. Getting closer time to hunt them again spring is getting loser

They get disoriented just like my mother. I've killed a couple during this time of year. When I see them, they are targets.
