.22-250 - 50 gr. V-Max .243 Win- 58 gr. V-Max 6mm-284 - 65 gr. V-Max I shoot V-Max's in all my varmint rigs for maximum splatter. I've found nothing that compares.
i have a .224tth and it likes 69gr sierra matchking. with this bullet and reloader 19 it shoots .5 inch groups at 100yds.i havn't splated a groundhog with it yet but with this accuracy it should do agoodjob-
i also have a 6mm-06 and it like 95gr nosler partion. on whitetail deer this load is great.
85 grain nosler ballistic tips coming out of my custom 257 weatehrby seems to find their mark on coyotes so well! its the sound of that bullet hitting the critter that is so sweet!
.243 Win. 70 gr Speer HP TNT.... seated in front of a healthy dose of Norma MRP.... anything this side of the moon will explode into a cloud of very very small pieces....

made in sweden, i use almost the same combination, except i use an 85gr SIERRA HPBT. for any thing with fur or feathers, excluding larger species of bears. dennis

bob, they say a picture is worth a thousand words, good job! dennis
I really like the Sierra 6.5 100gr. Varmint Hollowpoint. This is a little bigger than most, however its wind bucking capabilities can't be denied in my opinion.

I Only have one scope on a 30-06,so I use it for groundhogs, deer and as of 8-9-02 one coyote. The bullet is a 125HP TNT from Speer.Longest shot at hogs was 300yds and it almost cut the head off the little Varmint.
I have been using the 50 gr VMax in both my VSSF 223 and my Sako Varmint 22-250.They sure blow up a gopher and darn accurate too.In the area of 3/4" in both rifles.
My all time favorite Varminting bullet is the Sierra 50 grain Blitz bullet (Sierra #1340)! This often overlooked bullet is very affordable, very accurate and very devastating to Varmints. I also recommend the 55 grain Sierra Blitz. I have about a four year supply of the 50 grain Blitz bullets on hand and use it in many of my 22 caliber Varmint Rifles. If you haven't tried them in your Varminter then you should give them a go next time your doing load development. I am sure you will be pleased ith them. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
