I am looking for a rifle rest that looks like the Benchmaster ("the Cadillac of rifle rests," they claim) made by whom I can't remember. The Benchmaster has its shortcomings, so someone took the basic idea and improved it quite a bit by adding a bubble level out on a finger to the left (or right), made it out of steel and made it ambidextrous. Just loosen some bolts, turn the main arm over and it's a lefty. It is designed to hold an AR-15 with a 30-round magazine in place. It has a leather sling in the back to hold the butt. I cannot remember the name. I think it's something like Firing Squad. They cost about $160 and are more or less handmade. Anybody have any idea about what I'm seeking? Thanks. | ||
