I’m thinking on getting one of my Model 700s re-barreled to 6mm AI. Any recommendations as far as where to have the do the work? I’m looking at getting barrel, chamber, blue-printing and possibly bluing all done at the same time.

I can second Jim Kobe in Bloomington, MN. Besides being a friend and good guy, he is a very good riflesmith.

I could have bought a couple of good plains games hunts through the years with the money I have paid Jim for rifle work. He has always done a great job.

His email is jkob60@aol.com
