i was looking at a inexpensive varmiter in 223 and found the t-3 varmit rifle. does anyone know how they shoot out of the box. thanks

If the varminter is like the white tail hunter and the T3 I have, they will shoot lights out. It's a great rifle and I would love to have a varmint model in a LH version.

My dad just got one, it makes .5 inch groups consistently. I really like it and it may even be more accurate than my savage, for a couple hundred less!

I have the T3 varmint in 22-250. It even shoots well with Winchester red/white box ammo.

Bud's is closing out some Tikka Super Varminter's for a great price. I am not too keen on their customer service, but they have a great price. Tom.

I have the Tikka T3 in 22-250, and it shoots the above mentioned cheap Winchester ammo withing an inch at 200 yards. My only problem now is that California outlawed lead ammo for ground squirrels and coyotes.
