I always liked Major Boddicker's Crit'R calls-- from the Pee Wee on up to their fantastic Magnum-- the funkiest worst sounding, who-would-wanna-waste-their-time-on-it call ever made. Calls critters tho like the house-a-fire.

Had an interesting experience once with it. I was calling some low rolling prairie country with a jackrabbit blaster of some sort. Saw a coyote in a field mousing about 3/4 mile away. No matter what, i couldn't get him to hear that call. I knew the loudest call i had was the Magnum, so i replaced the big jackrabbit with it, and blew loudly in his direction-- he immedialtely riveted in on my position, and came in-- i popped him at about 100 or so. It also makes a very loud coarse howl too-- 1 of my favorites.

I used to get hot under the collar 2 about educating coyotes-- but since i've gotten into spot and stalk more than calling these days, i don't care if there's 20 guys calling the country-- i'll get the educated ones-- heck, their usually the bigger ones anyways. One thing's for sure-- i haven't met a spot and stalk-educated coyote yet.

I had Rich Cronk tune up a few Talley-Hos and a Verminator Thumper and Tweety. They work much better after he works them over. You can use the whole reed and make really nifty sounds over a wide range. I have 3 TNT customs and a Cronk Killer call. I use them all and they all work. Gonhuntin if you want to get rid of some of those ugly little calls I will send you my address and I will dispose of them. OK if you want I will send you some money LOL I want 1 or 6. PM me you website or addy for a price list. I have been looking for a good howler.

All the wood calls in those photos are long gone.....when I have a batch of calls ready to sell, they sure don't last long. I would be happy to let you pick from the next batch if you would like, but it's hunting season so I probably won't have any ready for a few weeks at least. I do have a few of the springbok horn calls left.......only made one howler, it's my personal call and I don't expect to make more of them.
