Do the current Remington synthetic-stocked heavy barrel rifles have HS precision or B&C stocks? I've heard conflicting stories. I know they used to be HS but have heard that Remington went to B&C for monetary reasons. Any info appreciated.

I bought a .308 HB about three months ago and it was a H-S stock.

Remington has went to B&C stocks per a Remington tech. Nothing wrong with a B&C stock that has the aluminum bedding block in it. Easy to tell the difference. An H.S. Precision has a round circle in the barrel channel, and B&C has an oblong one.
