Rem. 700 VSL stock ?
I have a Remington 700 VLS (laminated stock). I was looking it over the barrel is free floated every place execept under the swivel stud were it look like they left it for a pressure point anyone haveing one of thies is yours like that on not. How tight do you torque the actions screws when you put them toghter.

Shoot it before you do anything to the stock. I'll bet you won't even have to touch it.

That's standard on a Remington. As a rule, it works quite well.
