Last night Hilliard and I went down to his place south of Sterling City to do a little calling. He only has one section but it is surrounded by some pretty good country.

st set brought out a cat after about 20 minutes of calling on a Syco. This cat moved real slow and hung in the brush. When I had him coming in around 50 yards Hilliard had to cough. That ended that cat's progress.
nd set was pretty neat. I had a fox coming in from down wind. He hung up around 100 yards in the brush when he winded us. I also had two coons coming in from the west in the open. You can see what I wound up shooting. The 6BR is shooting great as usual.
rd set I had another cat coming but hung up in the brush like the 1st. Pretty sure it was the same cat the way it acted. Again, no shot.
th set I had this grey come bouncing in. He stopped at about 120 yards out and I stuffed a 65gr V Max in his rt. ear. We had pretty much called his place over by this time. Not a bad evening and done by 10pm.
