Who has the best price on cci .17 hmr ammo. I need a case. I was at the range yesterday and shot some guns to prepare for the season and I'm running low. Believe it or not my .17 likes the tnt's. I read a post on here a while back and everyone said their guns liked the hornady v-max loads.
Guess my gun is the odd duck. I've checked this over and over and the cci tnt comes out on top every time, and its cheaper too. I've tested this on little critters too and the tnt seemes to me to do a little more damage. Maybe I got lucky for once.

I bought the Savage Striker pistol in .17HMR and have shot it just three times. The ammo is so expensive I am thinking if trading it off for one in .223Rem, for which I already have many hundreds of rounds loaded up. I will say it feels good in the hand when fired, but the cost of that ammo...whew!! I could take Cindy Crawford out for an evening and spend less than I would at the range for the afternoon shooting .17HMR.
