i live about 1.5 miles from a railroad track - at night when a train comes through it blows its horn before approaching a road - that seems to set the coyotes and start howling back at it- interesting but probably to big to carry out into the field

Take your rifle out about the
time you expect a train. Might
get a shot. Have a call along
that might be good too.
