I just bought a Weaver V16 with the fine reticle for a 22 rimfire. Good buy for the money, very clear, scope adjustment movement is positive and repeatable, slightly inferior image quality as compared to the Leupold scopes that I have. I am happy with it. I would buy another.

I'm deciding between two scopes at the moment for a p-dogging project gun. I've never used either brand before. Have Swarovskis on my other rifles, but don't want to spend that much on this project. Choices: Both are 6-24x42's Weaver V24 with Mil-Dot Sightron SII Tactical with Mil-Dot Any experiences with either scope or mfr? Optical quality? Anybody know if either scope comes with sunshade? Midway has a shade for the Weaver, but I cannot find one for the Sightron.
