Trying to figure out if there are any back issues of this assoc.'s magazines i don't have. Kinda' confused about it tho. I have some issues called Prairie Dog News from the Inter. Varmint Assoc.; some others titled, Varmint Hunter International from an organization of the same name.; and The International Varmint Hunter from an organization called The International Varmint Assoc. I'm assuming that these are all from one and the same organization as the Editor and Founder are the same in all the mags.??

Anybody know any history on this/these assoc.'s?, and if someone has any back issues they don't want, i'd sure appreciate a contact--will pay.

Sscoyote: I was a memeber of the early International Association and am somewhat familiar with the transitions, hard feelings, law suits and crap that eventually led to the formation of the Varmint Hunters Association - of which I am life member #185, by the way.
This latest Association is a fine and reputable association and I am proud to be affiliated with it.
Again the rest is crap!
My issues of the International Varmint Hunter magazine are among my most prized possessions. I would not part with them for any amount of money!
Why you ask?
Because they are full of first hand and detailed accounts of "where to" (exactly where!) and "how to" Hunt Varmints (mainly in the western U.S.A.) - I have gone to my issues (dated from the late 1980's and 1990) and come up with VALUABLE and reliable info many times! Even recently I have reffered to them - and remember these mags are 26 years old +!
Good luck in your search for these mags but I have been looking for some missing issues for more than 25 years now and have yet to see any for sale!
I WILL buy any duplicates you may happen upon - cash on the barrel head!
Again best of luck in your search for these magazines but the crap and hard feelings in the magazines (organizations) history has long since become valueless to repeat.
Long live the Varmint Hunters Association!

Thks. much VG. Interesting about the transitions. if i'm not mistaken Michael Comstock was the original founder of the new Varmint Hunter's Assoc. I remember seeing his name on the masthead of TVHM years ago, but no more. Wonder what ever happened to him?

BTW, i have a couple duplicate copies that r in darn near brand new condition if u're interested.
