A buddy and I want to try getting the coyotes he hears howling on his farm into the open and in shooting range. I have no experience with mouth calls so I thought I'd try something electronic. However, it be more fun with a mouth call so if someone can recommend a mouth call for a first timer that I could use without sending the coyotes running away into the next county I'd sure go with that over a cd or tape.
These are Kentucky coyotes that I'm after.

Burnham, Primos, Screey, and many others make good calls. For close in calling lip squeaking works fine. If you decide to go with a caller and want to put the bucks into it I would suggest the remote callers with flash cards.
