Some of you here may remember my beautiful wife Ashley... Well, SHE IS PREGNANT WITH OUR 1ST CHILD. We just found out yesterday and I am still in shock. We were not trying, but not actively not trying. Just letting it happen if it happened. This is the 1st month of us being on this "policy", so it is a lot sooner than we expected... but here we go!!! She will be due the 1st half of Sept... So 8 months if all goes well and we will have a little one!! Healthy is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die "Men don't change. Congrats there guy. I got married at 27, my wife was 20. We waited four years to start a family. At that age, I sure did enjoy being "on the production line" so to speak. We had 3 kids in 32 months. Don't let anyone tell you that your wife can't get pregnant while nursing. My youngest is now 25. I now have a 23 month old grandson that is the joy of my life. I hope you enjoy your wife's pregnancy. They have a glow about them during that time. Best GWB | |||

EXCELLENT!!!! We have an 11 year old and then were told we could have no more....well we now have a 1 1/2 year old. Pregnant women are the best in my opinions.....Funny, sexy, and frustrasting.... | |||

Congrats!! I have an 18 month old and a 7 week old (both boys). From my very recent experience, it's the biggest thing that will ever happen in your life by far. Those first three months are very difficult with the sleep deprivation and the major shift in your life and your priorities that will happen. Get used to not being the most important person the house anymore!!!! Baby and mum are No.1 now and your needs come second. The quicker you realise this and take it on board, the better it will be for everyone. It's a stressful but infinitely rewarding time you are entering! Enjoy!! | |||

Ditto on that, that's how we got our 9 year old but the little shit is the light of our lives. If I had it to do over I'd have a dozen of the little rugrats in addition to the three we have. | |||

Congratulations! Have you thought about how to have them delivered etc? My two were both homebirthed and natural. We took the Bradley classes. I am so proud that the first human hands to touch my two children were mine! It was life changeing for me. Whatever happens, may God bless you and your family. My children are the universe to me. Congratulations!!!!!!! Your life is about to change in ways you never thought possible. Make sure you enjoy the next 9 mos cause it'll never be the same once that little bugger hits the ground. You'll be amazed at how selfish you used to be and wonder what you did with all your spare time, but it'll be worth it!! Oh yeah, one more thing: catch up on your sleep now while you can.....I haven't had a good night's sleep in 6 years 5 months and 14 days......but I wouldn't trade it for all the money in the world. Congradulations! We raised four. Twin girls included. Tip: learn to take the side of the bed against the wall. I am a grandpa now a few times over. Life is great. | |||
