Banjo Tour of Beautiful Dixie. Great music. Fabulous

photography. Turn up your sound and click on the link below.

All you Southerners stand at attention. The location is shown

is at the bottom right of the picture.

All the rest of you, close your eyes, bow your heads, and stand in silence, while we pay our respects.

How very sweet. Even after 145 years, there is still healing going on. Was that battleship the Alabama?

Now boys as you are already aware that on every courthouse lawn there is a confederate soldier statue facing south, are you also aware that the north clock on the tower is incorrect? That is because we won't give the yankees the time of day.Times change + people forget;that's why folks need to remember;for history's sake.Just for the record my profession is in historical restoration + replication.

Plus 1 on the soldier statues, I am old enough to remember when we celebtated Confederate Memorial day by walking from school to the statue and having a memorial service.

Nathan Bedford Forrest was still on his horse looking south when I moved from Memphis in 1967. I hope he still is. He was the finest tactician in the war. God bless him.
