Personally speaking, there isn't anything in this entire world I would spend a million dollars on. That amount would allow me and the wife to live pretty good for the rest of our lives.
Figuring we are both over 50, I could put a million in an investment account making a simple 6% and have $60K a year off just the interest, while still keeping the principle invested, to add to my retired military pension of about $30K a year. $90K a year with no bills means we would be sitting good and I could add the original million to my estate for my heirs to have.
