I just read that Alvin Lee of Ten Years after died today.

A tribute



I first saw Alvin Lee in a club in Houston, Tx., The Catacombs. I think it was 1972. I'm sure I had imbibed or inhaled some mind altering substance as was my habit in those days. First guy I ever saw wearing clogs.

I was a fan and still have Cricklewood Green on my I-phone.

I saw Alvin Lee and Ten Years After, at the old Baltimore Colliseum, in 1972. Absolutely one of the fastest hands in the world of guitar.

Man, that sucks. He was a hell of a guiter player. I especially loved the "I'm Going Home" set they did at Woodstock.
