The shotgun in "Romancing the Stone?"
In the 1986 movie "Romancing the Stone" (Kathleen Turner, Michael Douglas), Michael Douglas uses a pump action shotgun. It has no ejection port on either side. But it does not look like the Ithaca M-37 shotgun I had as a boy. Please identify the shotgun.

not to get off the subject (kinda), has anyone seen "Marley & Me"? If so, did you catch that Kathleen Turner was the dog trainer at the obedience school? Holy smoke, time has not been kind. If you have fond memories of the fox Kathleen Turner in "Romancing the Stone", don't shatter them by watching "Marley & Me", or at least close your eyes for those few minutes.

I'll verify the BPS was available in 1985-86, when movie was made. By George, you might have got it!

I think it's been around since 1977.

Treatment for rheumatoid arthritis destroyed her looks......steroids can be devastating especially for women. Jerry Lewis was on them for a few years late in life and then went off them, his looks changed dramatically.....amazing, but the head and face are affected dramatically by chronic steroid use.

I truly would not have recognized her if it were not for her voice. At least she's above ground.
