why is it this is a production the NRA does not want me to see?

The New York Times did a less than glowing review if that tells you anything. The author of the review found the lead character's aggressiveness in pressuring a mother to go on television unseemly.

I think it grossed about 125k in its limited release, not dead but not impressive.
