During the Boxer uprising, circa 1900, the American Marine contingent in the defense of the foreign legations in Peking used what rifle: the Krag; the 6.5 mm Lee Navy; something else? Were their officers and NCOs using the 1895 Colt revolver or something else? It's so simple to be wise. Just think of something stupid to say and then don't say it. Sam Levinson

That should be 6mm Navy ! Of course the Krag in 30-40. I assume a Colt 38 cal revolver .Experiences there and in the Phillipines showed the .38 was not enough leading to the 1911.
