A few months ago I had the privelige of inviting a young man into my home who was from Germany + had been a transfer student here several years ago. I thought he would be interested so I showed him my collection of Lugers + broom Mausers. He commented that in Germany where they can not own them he would feel obliged to tell the police that I had them.I mentioned that in this country one has the right to ownership of weapons. He could not believe it. You have no right! Only the military + police have that right. I calmly informed him that his rationale was what allowed Hitler to come to power but he still could not see it. Imagine if the cafes + theatres in Germany,Paris, etc. had armed citizens. Add to that we have a white house candidate who prefers U.N. law over the constitution I/E disarming the populace while also allowing importation of potential terrorists. What a recipe for disaster. You can't make this stuff up.

Finally someone speaks the voice of reason. Terrorists are cowards, they won't attack anywhere that people will fight back. Armed citizens with proper training would stop this bullshit in its tracks. Hats off to the Interpol Secretary General Ronald Noble.

From what I've seen from people in Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, this is a very common attitude towards freedoms we, in the USA, hold dear.

That's the problem with our young people growing up like that, they have no idea what Freedom truly means. Take 'em
shooting.

I've got a good friend (75 years young now) that is a fellow shooter, etc. His daughter growing was introduced to the shooting sports + loved it....up until she went of to collage @ UCLA.They totally brainwashed the girl on the EVILS of guns, etc. His grandson wants to shoot as any man would. PAPA has his .22's,etc. He told his daughter that if he comes out to the ranch,he WILL be allowed to shoot. If this offends your new found morels then as sad as it is not to see my grandson then this the way it will be.So far she has allowed the boy to go to the ranch.Smart move on mant levels.
