I go on, "Shooting Expeditions."

Load up the truck, Ford Ranger, extended cab, 4WD w/ canopy . . . tent, food, cooking stuff, shooting bench, benchrests, chrono, a brace of firearms, several thousand rounds of ammo.



We head out into the desert, GPS on "cow trails" in 4 WD . . . get into an area where we can set up 500 yds in most directions.



Set up the tent. Set up the bench. Build a fire if it's legal (summer it's not).

Set out some targets. Prone out on the ground, find some "targets" . . . Make some reload notes, clean the rifles, shoot the pistols, maybe move down to the river for a day or two and do some fly fishing . . .

Retired . . . Every day is like a Saturday. I'll "get back" when I'm ready.
