Hey Wally

Ever notice how difficult it can be(even for a person like me that has no tact)to tell some one that what they have just asked you is none of their stinking businessFrowner. I am involved with this fantastic redhead but she asks some questions that are difficult to answer. She is a bit of a bleeding-heart-gun-not-so-crazy-fuckin'-liberal, but that is besides the point. The other day while I was making arrangements to buy another gun she asks,"So, how many guns do you have?" My natural response-none of your business. All you need to be concerned with is the gun between my legs. ..."Well, where do you keep them?" NUNYA!! She is 10yrs younger than I(I will be 36 in July 2008), so maybe her generation commonly asks questions like "Hey old lady, how old are you?".... "Hey mister, how much money do you make?".... "Hey friend, do you lock your house at night?". Maybe I am just a little insensitive. Not a fuckin' chance! I don't care if she can suck the Titanic up from the bottom of the ocean through a garden hose. My guns, my money, and how I chose to store them are none of anybody elses business.

Your thoughts?
Wally or anyone with insite. Please help me to respond more tactfully.

I agree with you, the much amount of guns etc that you have is your personal belongings and no one else has something to do with it, just ask her, how many shoes or purses she has .....

You must ask them in a way they understand , like a car, a guy might say that you dont need a .416 Rigby for Grizzly , if you have a .30-06...

Then the answer can be, you dont need a 4WD either, but the extra power and thrust can be neccessary sometime, but you don`t know when or where its going to be needed.

I dumped her. I'd much rather find a gal that already hunts and understands these things.

Just for future reference, Clinton developed an effective means of silencing young females. Each and every one of the gals have been taught not to talk with their mouths full.

Well, I don't know if I'd say "her" generation. I'm 27, and I know enough (or was taught well enough) not to ask any of those questions. When people ask me how many guns I have, where I keep them, etc., the answer is still, "none of your goddamn business."

Oh well, you dumped her. Go find another one, preferably one who is pro-gun or at least indifferent. Big Grin patriot
