NaphtaliThread with no purpose beyond its photgraph
I happened across a spectacular photograph taken by a friend at Seeley Lake Saturday, August 4, 2007, at the Jocko Lake fire. Seeley Lake, Montana, has bordering it four finger lakes: Seeley Lake, Placid Lake, Jocko Lake, Salmon Lake. I hope you enjoy it.
You can see the beacon flash on the cell tower on Double Arrow lookout [point] in Lolo National Forest. Fortunately the fire did not advance much past this point. We had 5 to 30 minutes at this time as it was reported the fire moved 5 miles during 2 hours just prior to this photo.
Here is the thumbnail.

DuggaBoyeReminds me of the fire(s) in Jack County Texas this year.
We could see it on the ridges --and the --alot closer ,very quickly.
