Just an addition to the Ted Nugent 1967 posting

Question:
Who would you rather share a beer with?

Choices:
Al Gore who served in Vietnam?
Ted Nugent who did not serve in Vietnam?

I have no interest in drinking, talking nor being seen with either of them. Al did go to the Nam as an Army EM but he only served a short tour as a reporter and was accompanied by a bodyguard the entire time. Just getting his ticket punched.

Actually I say Nugent drinking a beer with Anthony Bourdain(sp?) on that TV show No Reservations.

He said that it was the second beer he had ever had. IIRC

I thought it was a bit odd.

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

Yes he does. Ask Sammy Hagar how Nugent liked his Cabo Wabo Tequilla backstage.

Al Gore for sure. He has led a very interesting life. I would like to hear what he has to say about Clinton.

Good point. I'll drink the beer, he can drink whatever his favorite is. It would be great conversation anyway.

animal I was inclined to agree at first, but if girls with the looks of Monica Lewinsky are what's gonna be on the menu, I'll pass.

Then again, if his standards are that low, he may take one for the team.
