some of you may have a hard time believing this; but I do hang out on other sites.

This is about the only place that does not seem to be, at time, overrun by whiners and envy-nerds.

I was on the ML site, and there were four guys whining about the fact that the magazine features custom built muzzleloading rifles that cost from $3000 up.
Others that a blanket maker makes blankets that replicate the F&I and Rev War ones so close as to be indistinguishable from originals. And, cost more than a Hudson Bay one.
Guys whine about high quality accoutrements, especially pouches and horns; and the cost. Quillwork, especially.

Lots of "well if I had your money...". One of those is too many.

A member here posts about a trip to Africa, Cape Buff, Lions and Leopards, the occasional trophy bull Elephant and marvelous plains game trophies.

People here respond, "good for you...". We enjoy each other's toys and accomplishments. At least, I do.

Is this the only dork-free zone left on the internet?

I feel better now. Good night.

Rich

All sites have their share of good people/jerks/dorks/wannabee's etc. etc.

Internet forums are simply microcosms of Real Life.

If you want to continue enjoying it, NEVER, For ANY Reason, mention Crazy Horse.

That is where I first got involved on internet websites, and just from my observations, the THF is why I like Accurate Reloading over ANY regional sites.

Too Draconian moderation. I got banned from THF for using the word Penis and for using the statement "The Browning Of America"!

There were some good folks on that site, some I still am in contact with, but they want people to kiss the moderators asses and ANY comments or opinions that do not mesh with those of the moderators are not welcome.

Glad that you enjoy it, but it will never on its best day be as good as this site.

J, I got banned because I simply have a hard time being a sheep.

I figure that is something you can not understand. You want to be part of the group, one of the in-crowd, not a hell of a lot different than Liberals/Democrats, that is really pathetic.
