For those of you interested, I just posted a short article on my website titled BPCR Brass - Stretching or Shortening Over Time? It was published in the recent edition of The Single Shot Exchange Magazine. I did make a few modifications prior to posting it on my website. Here’s the link: http://www.texas-mac.com/BPCR_...ening_Over_Time.html Wayne NRA Life (Benefactor) Member, TSRA Life Member, NSSF (National Shooting Sports Foundation) Member, Author/Publisher of the Browning BPCR book.

Wayne, that's just fantastic that your annealing and loading techniques have allowed you to load the same brass 38 times, and no end in sight. I had no idea such case longevity was possible, although I would bet that black powder cartridge cases could outlast smokeless, when properly cleaned, due to the lower pressures and temperatures. Thanks for posting! Bill There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t. – John Green, author
