The first is a Carl Schlieper Soligen Germany Eye Brand two blade knife. None of our local knife collectors have ever seen one. And the other knife is marked MR 85. Haven't been able to find the maker on it. Any help would be appreciated.

My guess is that the MR85 is the knife makers mark. Perhaps his initials followed by the year or model number. The only US knife maker that comes to mind with those initials is Michael Rader of Rader Blade Works. He is now considered a Master Knife Maker. Perhaps one of his early blades. That top one might be a grafting/budding knife. But that's about all I know about them

Thank you drhall762. A pecan budding knife is the last thing I would have thought of. Will have to check on the Michael Rader knife. Thanks.
