Does anyone do friction forging outside of the big shops with expensive tooling? I saw a thing on TV about friction forging and it was stated that the grain size in the heat affected zone was 1/10th the size of the furnace quench hardening. I did a little internet looking for friction forged knives and only see DiamondBlade Knives as advertising it. Do any other makers do it?
