Charlie has a great looking new "camp knife" with a fire steel in the handle, which could be real handy for those of us that spend a lot of time outdoors.
Fortunately he was due to start a knife for me in January so I should have one next week.

What kind of steel is he using?
What's the handle material? Looks like green canvas Micarta.

His standard material is D2 or you can request S30V. The handle is green canvass micarta, but he will make the handle from about anything you can imagine.Most of my knives are iron wood, but I do have a green micarta and an orange G-10.

I just completed an order for one of his Big Woods with S30V steel.
Now I gotta wait 12 months to get it!
