Hi all, I just found a knife that I thought I'd lost a couple of decades ago, it is a somewhat unique IXL barlow folding knife that has solid cast iron handles with a bark-type pattern. I've been looking and can't really find a decent website that can help me identify and date it. I've had it since the mid 70's and it was old when I got it. The only markings are IXL on the handle and the main blade, and "George Wostenholm Sheffield England" on both blades. It has a spear point blade instead of the usual clip point. I'll take a picture tomorrow, it is a rather interesting looking knife. for every hour in front of the computer you should have 3 hours outside | ||
