I read somewhere that KOA recommends a sharpening system called Gotco(I think), but I haven't bought it yet, because much to my surprise the sharpening stone that came with the set actually brings the blades back to shaving quality fairly easily(and I'm not all that great at knife sharpening). I too seem to use the caper more than anything else. I added the muskrat to my collection a couple of days ago...I really like the feel of it. I went in to buy the ulu, but didn't care for the way it fit in my hand. It felt pretty awkward.
