Here's a lovely knife by Clay Gault. Sorry to say I'm fairly unsophisticated about knives and had not heard of this maker before.
Very high quality and top flight materials. Some of the best stag I've seen.
I really enjoyed engraving this knife and working with this particular customer.

Clay has been dead for years. Texas maker. Was very good. I picked up a few great tips from him.

My father had a few knives from Clay Gault. He was quite the character with a black cowboy hat that had as many miles as he did. I believe he also made the custom sheaths from exotic leather. I wish I had held on to some.


I meant to be DSC Member...bad typing skills.
