Took the day off and went holiday shopping today for my wife, daughter and son. I walked into a knife shop and saw this little beauty.

I couldn't resist reading this post....I thought you had made it yourself. It's still a damn nice knife nomatter who made it. What's the handle made of? The sworls match the blade very well!!!

The Knife was made by Herb Derr and the specs are:

"Herb Derr HD1 Amboyana burl handle. Ivory spacer. 2700 layer Birdseye Damascus blade. Emu / Cowhide sheath."

I polished it up last night as I sat admiring it.
