This may be a little off-topic, but I recently obtained two swords sent to me from a colleague serving in Kabul, and I wanted to know what anyone here thought of these weapons. I am certain they are of some antquity, dating perhaps to 1850+/-,and perhaps older, and they are related to a class of saber called Tulwar, related to India, but also seen and observed in Pakastan and Afganistan, and that region, with a different classification, I am certain they are combat weapons..here are some photos:

I think those are older than 1850.
