I have a Lile push button lock folder with a nickel silver frame and stag inserts. It is blade number 105, Lile with no dot. I have heard that none of this model had the dot. There is a year inside the frame on the back spacer. Does anyone know if the blade should be to the left or right to read the correct date. Left it reads 86, right it reads 98.

It would have to be a 86 made knife after 1991 all the knives had the DOT.
