I'm looking for a couple of cheap (under $25.00) hunting knifes which will handle field dressing/quartering of large animals, like Moose. I am too paranoid to risk shipping my regular hunting knife when traveling via air so these knives would carry no sentimental value and just be good tools.
I've read some articles on the "scandanavian" knives and they sound pretty good.
Can anyone give me some real life experiences with these knives, expecially sharpening in the field!!! Thanks for your help.

One of the best values in knives is the Mora [Frosts of Sweden] knife .Check www.ragweedforge.com You can choose carbon or stainless ,wood or plastic handle.I've used the stainless/plastic ones and they are very practical ,decent steel, well shaped handles ,easy to sharpen and low price !!Can't beat that ! thumb
